08/01/2026: I was invited to an event at Villa Hirta, and honestly, I wasn't expecting it to be this way.
The arrival itself is unique: you drive up towards Casertavecchia, park, and from there you enter the village. It's not the usual "closed" villa, but a path that slowly leads you into the party. As a guest, I found this very nice; it immediately puts you in a different dimension.
The appetizers were scattered throughout the alleys and spaces of the village, so there wasn't the usual crowd in one spot. We ate, walked, chatted, without rushing. The food was really good, especially the fried foods and cheeses, and everything was very plentiful (perhaps even too much 😅). Even those of us, like me, who don't usually like standing for hours, do so there without realizing it.
The dinner was well organized, with attentive service and carefully prepared dishes. I didn't see any stressed waiters or confusion, which unfortunately often happens at large events. The timing was just right, not too long, not too fast.
One thing I really liked was that the evening wasn't "stiff": you weren't forced to sit still or follow a rigid schedule. You moved around, chatted with different people, and enjoyed the atmosphere. The dessert buffet was the perfect finale, with so much to choose from (perhaps some people missed a few spots because there was so much).
If I had to find some small areas for improvement, I'd say a little more background music in certain areas would have helped, especially when moving from one area to another. And perhaps a few more directions for guests arriving in the village for the first time, just to help them get their bearings at the start. Nothing serious, though, more of a matter of details than anything else.
Overall, as a guest, I felt very comfortable; I never felt like I was being "dragged" by the evening.
It's one of those events that stays with you, and when you go home, you say, "That was really beautiful."
If I were to organize something important in the future, Villa Hirta would definitely be one of the first options I would consider.
08/01/2026: We celebrated our event at Villa Hirta, and the experience was truly special, much more than we expected.
The first thing that strikes you is the setting: being welcomed into the village of Casertavecchia, with its narrow streets, soft lighting, and gradually opening spaces, immediately creates a warm and authentic atmosphere, unlike the usual reception halls.
The food was one of the highlights: plentiful, carefully crafted, and above all, deeply rooted in the local area. From the appetizers wandering around the village to the dishes served at the table, you could sense the quality of the ingredients and the desire to serve well, without rushing. The final buffet was a true celebration within a celebration.
The staff was always present but never intrusive, which is not to be taken for granted. You felt looked after, but in a natural way. Throughout the evening, too, great attention was paid to timing and to the guests, both young and old.
A word of advice to those who choose Villa Hirta: trust the experience of those who manage it, especially when organizing the itinerary and the moments of the day, because that's where the location really shines.
In conclusion, we recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine, convivial, and elegant experience, not the classic "everything the same" event.
We will definitely return, even just to relive the atmosphere.
