The castle is a little hidden gem. From the restaurant a beautiful panorama overlooking the silhouette of the historic center of Perugia. Wonderful at sunset, as at night with the lights of the bell towers of S. Domenico and S. Pietro. The staff were welcoming, kind, extremely professional. Each impeccable dish, wine paired with the dishes. You can also visit the castle after dinner. Every detail of the structure, from the interiors, to the walls, to the gardens is studied in detail. We want to go back in the summer to eat on the splendid panoramic terrace. Thanks for everything!

Location magica, personale competente e affabile, atmosfera romantica e cibo strepitoso. Cucina di un certo livello, pensata, calibrata, ricercata e lavorata da mani sapienti e competenti. Se si vuole vivere una food experience di alto livello, il Gradale è il posto giusto.

Soggiornando nel castello abbiamo cenato per il nostro anniversario di matrimonio in questo eccezionale ristorante. Siamo stati accolti dal caposala Simone..molto accogliente e simpatico che ci ha offerto due calici di prosecco per brindare. Alla sera tavolo con luce soffusa.. bellissima atmosfera..abbiamo preso un nido di rondine con crema e spolverata di scaglie di tartufo.. era un piatto strepitoso di alta qualità. Consiglio a tutti di sperimentarlo questo luogo meraviglioso!! Grazie mille per la serata e complimenti

Formal but not too formal atmosphere, nice atmosphere experienced in the evening at an outdoor dinner on the castle terrace. Excellent service, varied menu, excellent food and fair portions. Splendid view of Perugia. The castle in excellent condition and the swimming pool make this location an exclusive residence if you are looking for 5-star relaxation. Highly recommended

Magnificent view of the city and countryside from the terrace. This restaurant is located in the beautiful gardens of the Castello di Monterone hotel. Good service. Unfortunately, the cuisine is not at all up to par with the place. This is one of the poorest meals (dinner) we have had in recent years in Italy (we come here on average once a year). On the other hand, the breakfast served there is absolutely excellent and varied.

13/02/2025: Pellicano is always a guarantee, fabulous pizza as are the meat-based second courses, excellent burgers and a vast selection of bottled beers and obviously on tap, you can't miss the Tennents on tap which has been present since they opened almost thirty years ago. Excellent service, everyone was good and smiling. It's always a pleasure to come back.

10/02/2025: After a few years I returned to this place with my children and as in the past we had a really good time, perhaps a bit of confusion in terms of the environment, but due to the many people present thanks certainly to the fact that it is a very good place. The hamburger taken by my daughter and the mixed grill by my son were excellent, as was the special of the evening (deer stew) enriched by a good torte al testo we will definitely be back for years now
21/01/2025: It was truly a pleasant experience, the dishes were delicious, the staff very courteous, very precise and punctual, I like to underline a particularity which, despite having traveled around a lot, I found unique, having extra off-menu items, therefore more than the off-menu sheet. daily, they are well explained to you with a price. We will definitely return also for the excellent selection of wines
