We chose Goose for dinner near our AirBnB and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere, service, and quality of food were all excellent. A special shoutout to our server, Tudorita, for her enthusiasm and attentiveness. Their pastas are homemade, perfectly al dente, and delicious! We got the fettuccine ai frutta di mare and cacio e pepe and would recommend both, along with their house wine (which only costs 8€ for 1/2 a litre!). 10/10, would recommend!!

The pizzaplace where the locals eat- very good pizza and the “Goose” pasta was very tasty. Friendly staff. Off the beateb tourist track.

The wood-fired pizza is delicious. I had carbonara pasta, but it didn't suit my taste very well. Service is average.

The restaurant is good value for money. The pizzas were good and so was the pasta, especially caccio e pepe and frutti di mare. Of course, don't order the tiramisu because it was a strange custard.

I have been coming to Goose restaurant and Pizzeria since 2010, i can honestly say their food is amazing. The Pizza base is cooked perfectly, the mini croquettes are so good I have never eaten any like these . The servings are very generous. Great location .Staff are very friendly and speak English. Marica and Gianluca are the best hosts .Everytime I travel to Rome from Australia I ensure I never leave Rome without dining here .

Restaurante muy normal. Fuimos aquí después de visitar el Vaticano debido a una revisión en uno de los Facebook group. Desafortunadamente nada memorable. El servicio estaba bien, la comida estaba bien. Cuando fuimos, el lugar estaba bastante vacío. Personalmente me saltaría este lugar a menos que estés cerca.

22/05/2025: A truly welcoming and authentic place, frequented mostly by locals, not tourists. There is no rush for lunch here: it is the kind of restaurant where locals like to stop for a long, relaxed meal. The food is perfect, the service is kind and attentive, and the prices are really fair. But the real reason to come is the atmosphere: it is worth taking the time to enjoy a quiet lunch in a place like this.
19/05/2025: I know the historic city center quite well, so I often walked past without stopping. One Saturday night, when I was in Rome for the Jubilee, I decided to try the cacio e pepe, everything was fantastic, the atmosphere is typical Roman, and the staff is very polite. The only small flaw - but I'm boring - is the location, that if you dine at the tables outside, in Via Della Lungara a lot of cars and motorcycles pass, but all this does not depend on the choices of the restaurant.

31/05/2025: Dinner for two; even though we hadn't booked, they seated us as soon as possible. Pasta alle gricia was really excellent. The Spritz was also very good. Fair prices! Congratulations also for the availability and kindness!
30/05/2025: Les pâtes étaient très bonnes mais la pizza sans plus . Mais c’était Parfait pour nous pour manger entre deux visites du musée et la basilique.
