By chance, on Saturday lunchtime, I remembered that old pizzeria on the Somma ring road. As soon as we entered, I realized everything had changed, and for the better. The atmosphere was tastefully decorated, warm, and welcoming. The waiter who welcomed us was friendly and offered excellent recommendations. The lunch was quality, and the prices were in line with the restaurant's style. Looking around, we noticed they also offered pizza for lunch, strictly Neapolitan, wood-fired. The owner was very kind, and it was a pleasure to exchange a few anecdotes about the Christmas decorations. We'll gladly return.

I used to go there before it closed for renovations. I returned, and as always, great hospitality and fast service. As soon as I ordered, I was shown the food and told the cooking time. Excellent as always, in a newly renovated, innovative, and welcoming space. I'm sorry for the reviews below, but it was a strange time of year. Emanuele's pizza is extraordinary

The interior and exterior are well-maintained and clean, with the only flaw being some of the lights facing the front. The fried pizza is excellent, as is the classic pizza. Free parking.

I returned to the Gold Lion after a long time and was amazed, to say the least. There were four of us, and the owner immediately welcomed us with great kindness and courtesy, seating us in a completely renovated restaurant. The entire structure, both inside and out, has been renovated with great care and attention to detail, and the finishes are truly elegant and modern. We started dinner with an appetizer of fries with sausage and mozzarella, and I must say the fried food was impeccable: light, dry, and incredibly flavorful. But the real show came with the pizzas. We ordered a Tronchetto, which, I assure you, was colossal! It's so rich and generous that it could easily serve two. The ingredients used are extremely fresh and high-quality. We then tried a Parigina with countless croquettes, each more exquisite than the last, and a Parmigianella, where the eggplant parmigiana released an intense and enveloping flavor, a true triumph of flavors. Finally, we couldn't leave out the Margherita, a classic that confirmed the excellence of the Gold Lion. Its flavor is authentic and unforgettable. Special praise goes to the dough: thin and light, it proved extremely digestible, a true rarity. To top it off, the bill left us speechless. Prices were average, in fact, more than fair considering the quality offered. I even had to ask for a box to take home almost an entire pizza, which I will happily enjoy later. The Gold Lion confirms itself as a must-visit for those seeking a high-end culinary experience at affordable prices.

I was there last night and the service was poor. The wait staff was improvised. Personally, even the decision to do everything (restaurant, pizzeria, takeout, sandwiches) doesn't help them manage the place.
