Gohan Japanese Restaurant In Agrigento

Gisteren ( d.d 19-5 ) hier wezen eten. Er was maar 1 ober die beetje Engels sprak, maar het bestellen was verder geen probleem. Je kon via een app of gewoon per lijstje bestellen wat je wilde. Het eten was heerlijk, en het restaurant ziet er prima en schoon uit. Ook het ontvangst was erg hartelijk. Het zit aan een hoofdstraat en een groot bord dus is niet te missen. Gaan zeker nog een keer terug voor het eind van onze vakantie. All you can eat was 29,- p.p , alleen drinken en dessert is apart, maar bij all you can eat betaal je maar 1,- per couvert.

The food at Gohan's is great. Everything comes to you hot and well served. I regret and didn't give 5 stars because, every time I go, I see too much mess on the floor... used napkins, fallen parts of food, spilled drinks... and no one to collect them! A staff member could occasionally carry out this service. The fault certainly lies with the customers, who are not educated to respect the community and know how to manage their own spaces.

Very fast and excellent quality food

Really beautiful place, truly impeccable location. The food is good, but nothing special. Specific: good but not excellent. The staff is friendly but when you ask something they pretend to forget. I understand very well that there are many customers and that it is not easy to manage a very large amount of work in an equally large place, but it is not nice to have to ask the same thing 3 times and receive a prompt YES as an answer but without actual feedback. Leaving aside this, however, which we can really overlook as professional carelessness, I couldn't overlook one thing: the order receipts LITERALLY soaked in the incoming dishes. The waiters bring the trays with the various dishes and to keep track of the tables for which they are intended, they place them and/or dip them in the food and then remove them by hand before serving at the table. I find this really UNHYGIENIC and disgusting. I understand that it might help to immediately distinguish the PLATE for the TABLE but putting them next to the plates, instead of INSIDE the food? Or bring fewer dishes at a time? I'm sorry but I don't think I'll come back again.

Welcoming environment, good food and friendly, competent staff.

An exceptional sushi experience! I've been to this sushi restaurant and I was absolutely thrilled! The quality of the fish is exceptional, fresh and flavoursome, and each dish is prepared with great care and impeccably presented. The menu offers a wide choice of nigiri, uramaki, sashimi and special dishes, all delicious. The service is impeccable: the staff is kind, attentive and ready to recommend the best combinations. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. I highly recommend this restaurant to all sushi lovers! I can't wait to go back.
