Gnostro In Benevento

We stumbled upon this place almost by accident... we were looking for somewhere near the B&B we'd booked in Benevento and close to the sights. We found the place using maps, looked at reviews, and social media profiles... and so we went in. Even though we hadn't booked, and the place was full, they set up a table for us right away... the courtesy and attention were exceptional. The food and cocktails were delicious, and we were treated to a complimentary glass of "Strega" at the end. If you happen to be passing through or staying in Benevento, Il Gnostro is highly recommended.

We stumbled upon this place by chance and were pleasantly surprised. They treated us to an off-menu "strega" cocktail, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the background music was top-notch. Highly recommended... it's a shame we live in Florence, otherwise it would have been one of our favorite places. When we're in the area, we'll definitely be back!
