I never write reviews, but this one really deserves it. Homemade dishes, like being at home. The ribollita was mind-blowing; I could have eaten a pan of it. 🤣 The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We cleared our plates 🤣🤣🤣 The pork tenderloin in a crust was amazing, as were the vegetables. What else can I say? We were offered the baked pumpkin because there was little left, and the coffee came with cantuccini biscuits. For the evening, he recommended a restaurant in the area, which we went to, and lo and behold, he's there for dinner too 🤣. A review for Il Tramaglino will follow.

Informal atmosphere, right in the historic center of Figline Valdarno. Excellent food, traditional Tuscan dishes. A generous selection of wine.

Simple and welcoming place. Excellent ingredients. The staff (the owner first and foremost) were incredibly friendly and welcoming, so much so that we went twice during our week-long vacation in the area. The price was fair.

23/11/2025: Excellent cuisine, we will return
11/11/2025: I went to the bar and sat outside, enjoying some wine with my book. I arrived before 5pm when it supposedly open but the staff was already inside and the door open so I tried my luck - and indeed it was open. The place has a gorgeous rustic charm and the staff was nice. I really wanted to try the restaurant but unfortunately, it didn't open until 1h later so I wasn't able to. Next time in Florence I'll probably try another hike in the hills and go back to try the food!

08/12/2025: The food is excellent. The restaurant is run by young people who strive for the highest quality in their products. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back.
06/12/2025: A great classic outside Florence, where you can enjoy a delicious meal without frills in an old-fashioned but tasteful setting. The only downside is that the prices have always been a bit above average.
