I recently had lunch in this tavern in the heart of Figline Valdarno. The restaurant is located practically in the centre, inside a historic building, which gives a certain charm to the environment but also entails some limitations, such as a very small bathroom and not suitable for people with disabilities. The internal space is limited, with few tables available, so I strongly recommend making a reservation if you want to have lunch comfortably seated. The menu is surprisingly broad, with a good choice of first courses, second courses and side dishes. The raw materials seemed to be of high quality, and the table service was quite fast, which makes it the ideal place for a quick but satisfying lunch. The only downside: the prices of some dishes, a little above average. For example, a plate of pasta with pesto for €10 is certainly abundant, but it is still expensive due to the simplicity of the dish. Overall, I recommend it for those looking for a tasty and quick meal in the centre, but taking into account the parking difficulties and limited spaces.

Disperati per non aver trovato un posto dove riuscire a mangiare, alle 14.30 abbiamo trelefonato a questa osteria, rassegnati a sentirci dire un altro "NO". L'oste ci ha detto che aveva già chiuso la cucina ma che avrebbe comunque potuto accoglierci e sfamarci con ciò che gli era rimasto... Che dire? Ci ha sfamato, eccome... e con ottimi piatti. Il locale è semplice ed essenziale. Forse un po' piccino... ma tanto eravamo praticamente gli unici avventori a quell'ora. Ottimo il tagliere di salumi e formaggi, strepitoso il peposo e buonissimo il pollo al curry. E, soprattutto, il proprietario si è dimostrato una persona squisita e molto disponibile. A mio figlio che voleva assaggiare la trippa, essendone avanzata poca, è stato offerto un assaggio anche abbastanza abbondante senza che ci venisse fatto pagare. Un peccato solo non aver potuto deliziarmi con un bicchiere di buon vino... dovendo poi guidare. Che dire? Bravissimi!

Location carina,semplice e essenziale. Piatti molto buoni in giusta quantità. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Tagliere di salumi e formaggi super buono,prodotti acquistabili. Da provare, buonissimo!!!!!!
