For me, the pizza is unmatched! The best I've ever eaten. The chickpeas are delicious too. The place is small, and there's sometimes a bit of a wait, but it's absolutely worth it. For those who can't wait, takeout is available.

The best pizza ever in Ferrara. One of the historic restaurants that has seen so many generations grow up.
A special thought always goes to Romano and Elsa, whose pizza and chickpeas have accompanied so many Ferrarese and beyond at local tastings. Thanks to Gianluca, who has chosen to carry on tradition and memories.

Pizza and chickpeas cooked. Delicious. Perfect. Friendly staff. A bit of a wait. I recommend not going after 8 pm, otherwise you'll have to wait in line for an hour.

This pizzeria is very well-known here in Ferrara, as there was a line to get in, even with a number. We also waited about half an hour. While we waited for the pizza we had ordered, we ate two slices of farinata (5 for 5) in Livorno. It wasn't bad, thin and crispy. Then the pizza arrived cut into slices, because there were no cutlery. To this day, I still can't understand how people can wait up to an hour to eat there, leaving aside the fact that the pizza is small, but the crust wasn't at all flaky; in fact, it was very dry, I struggled to swallow it. However, there's no arguing with the taste, so try it and believe it.
