I went here last year after a recommendation from a friend, absolutely incredible food and treatment - even better, my family just went to Rome just now and I gifted them a meal at Giulio's, and it's their favourite memory of eating in all of Italy - the food is glorious and the staff is welcoming, funny and warm. Unmissable spot!

Authentic, cool people who work here, and the food tastes fantastic! Even though the kitchen was almost closed, we still got two wonderful plates of pasta. The carbonara with short rigatoni was terrific. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Really wonderful experience for my partners birthday. The food was incredible, the wine list is enormous, and the service was top notch. We had primis, a secondi, a dessert and a bottle of wine for 100€ total which is also great

Very friendly staff, excellent service, as well as the food. Very honest prices. Particular mention goes to the owner, extremely kind, upon our arrival we had to wait 10 minutes, offering us two glasses of prosecco. 10/10

Piccolo e rustico locale, ottima cucina romana, tanti giovani che gestiscono il locale, con rapidità e precisione... comanda "a memoria" presa per ogni tavolo, e non hanno sbagliato un colpo! In quattro, abbiamo mangiato cose diverse, tutte molto buone. I fiori di zucca al forno esaltano il sapore degli ingredienti, la carbonara e lo stinco tra i migliori mangiati a Roma. Ottima la cantina dei vini, di tutti i tipi e da tutte le regioni.

Dit was zeer lekker en gezellig en vriendelijk personeel. We waren 5 dagen in Rome en vonden dit het beste restaurant dat we aandeden.

22/04/2025: Excellent food!! A certainty!! Tasty dishes, excellent raw materials, generous portions. The staff is very kind, professional and friendly. Every time we go we really feel at home... this place is truly typical Roman and their tiramisu is excellent and really sells out! We recommend it because it is certain that the cuisine is typically Roman!

30/04/2025: The place is small, but very welcoming; there is an internal room and a covered external one. The boy who served us did so the whole time with a smile and was very kind. The dishes are good, the carbonara truffle ceremony and the fried vegetables (tasty and not greasy) are recommended. Excellent value for money
07/04/2025: Excellent place osteria da checco We ordered the Roman saltimbocca with mixed vegetables, a specialty not to be missed, try the desserts, we had the tiramisu and it is the second best of my life... beautiful, very characteristic place, the only advice is to go around 1.30/2.00 pm if you go for lunch because we ate alone in the restaurant and many dishes were not ready yet...GO THERE
