Years have passed, but Gitano remains my favorite place. The little wooden house with its beautiful veranda overlooking the lake still has its charm. From here, you can admire the lake in 360°, a lake that never has the same color, but is always beautiful. This year, the big news: in charge, we have a wonderful staff of 20-year-olds; beautiful, smiling, and extremely courteous. They always keep this place tidy and clean. The food is excellent; my favorite dish is octopus with potatoes. Francesco, our legendary lifeguard, is always there. His strong point? His ability to engage the children and keep their "screaming" parents at bay so they can take a nice nap in the afternoon. Thanks to all the staff, and see you next year. Hugs, Emanuela

Nice place, excellent food, breakfast/lunch/dinner. We had lunch, tonnarelli sea bass and cherry tomatoes for two, delicious. Two Cokes, one water, homemade ice cream, very fair prices, friendly staff. We'll be back for lunch again today.

A charming place overlooking the beautiful Lake Bolsena. I've eaten at this restaurant many times. The place is quiet and informal, and the family-run business makes you feel right at home. The very limited menu (which changes daily based on availability) is a testament to the authenticity and freshness of the ingredients served. The fried calamari, in particular, deserves top marks.

I had the opportunity to go on a canoe trip with two other friends, guided by Francesco and his wife, two kind and helpful people who are passionate about their work. We enjoyed the peaceful lake and observed a variety of birds in their natural habitat. The experience was made even more magical and evocative by a waterside aperitif served right on the lake.

Fun is guaranteed here, and above all, safety is guaranteed: SUPs and canoes are perfect for exploring the calm waters of the lake, ideal for both beginners and experts. The organization is impeccable, and you always feel like you're being looked after. And then... the food! The fish dishes are a true delight, fresh and carefully prepared, accompanied by tasty aperitifs that can be enjoyed overlooking the lake, perhaps at sunset. An experience that perfectly combines relaxation, sport, and good food. Highly recommended for a day, a weekend, or a vacation dedicated to well-being and a smile.
