Girasole In Sennori

It's not a place for children (or for those who appreciate kindness). We had reserved a table for 13 adults, specifying over the phone that we would also be bringing two children under 2. Upon arrival, we found only regular chairs, and when I asked for a booster seat, the waitress (or perhaps the owner, I don't know) replied irritably that they didn't have any. At one point, the child got up to play with a small motorbike, and we were pointed out, with truly inappropriate arrogance, that children weren't allowed to play in the dining room. We tried to explain that it's difficult to keep little ones seated for hours, and the response was: "Indeed, this is not a place for children." And indeed, she made it clear to us in every way. It's a shame, because the food was truly excellent and we would definitely return, but a restaurant isn't judged solely by its cuisine: today, more than ever, they also need kindness and a smile for their customers. It's not a place for children — but, at this point, not even for adults who like to be welcomed with courtesy.

Order the fish tasting. For €45, including wine. We ate fabulously. The chef is truly talented. Expectations were exceeded.

I went to dinner with friends; the set menu cost €50 per person. The menu included an appetizer, which, let's say, was okay, although when they brought the raw red shrimp, the guts hadn't been removed. It also included a first course and wine. The portions were gourmet. The welcome wasn't the best; the waitress was rude and arrogant. There definitely won't be a next time.

Fabulous experience. Wonderful welcome from an impeccable hostess. Superbly prepared food by an excellent chef. Relaxing atmosphere. Large, well-spaced tables, so it felt like being alone, even though several tables were occupied. Welcoming, kind, and attentive staff. We didn't use the terrace because it was cold, but the view is spectacular. Compliments for everything. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed the experience, the food, and the new location. Of course, you have to know what you're getting into; there's only a tasting menu, with no options or changes. Everything is based on excellent seafood, wine (Vermentino Seleme DOCG), water, dessert, coffee, and liqueur included. All for €45. Open for dinner only, closed on Wednesdays, and starting mid-September, they'll be open for lunch only on Sundays.

The selection of appetizers was excellent. The rice, however, didn't quite live up to expectations. The dessert also lacked character. I would suggest offering a choice between two starters at the beginning of the meal...

An evening to remember. The restaurant is modern, impeccably furnished with taste and attention to comfort. It offers a 360° view and enjoys the cool evening breeze. Every seafood course is a celebration of the sea. From appetizers to dessert, everything is excellent, gourmet. Those who understand fresh fish—and unfortunately, there aren't many—find here the answer that great cuisine can be enjoyed without spending a fortune. Well done, well done, well done!
