13/09/2025: Quality, combination, clarity, presentation. Everything's perfect.
Mother and daughter (also truly beautiful) are in the kitchen. They cook the way we imagine real Italian cuisine. They know the clarity of the dishes, the quality and ingredients, and the precise preparation. They can tell when the pasta is al dente; they don't have to pull a noodle out every minute to determine the degree of doneness. We had a delicious meal; I would give it a star.
Pulled skate, lukewarm, with steamed fennel, olive oil, and salt. Mussels with risotto, rice, and tenderly cooked potatoes. This broth is delicious.
Then came pasta, with prawns and small sun-drenched tomatoes. The main course was sea bass, perfectly prepared, with just a hint of olive oil. It's an insider tip here in Puglia. We drank a bottle of wine with it. Cervaro by Antinori. Also an insider tip. My absolute favorite wine. We'll be back, definitely. With a big hug☺️🙏
15/08/2025: At La Marea, we ate the freshest and most flavorful fish in all of Savelletri (and, in fact, during our entire stay in Puglia). All the ingredients used are top-quality, and the staff is highly trained, attentive, and extremely friendly. It's the perfect place if you're looking for an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. There's no comparison; definitely stop here if you're in the area and want one of the best fish meals of your life!
