We had lunch at Gino Cacino, as we have done many times before, and each time it's an experience that stays with us. An authentic place, where you can feel calm, authenticity, and passion. No unnecessary frills: here, there's real substance, quality products, and simply delicious sandwiches, prepared with care and character. Angelo, the soul of the place, runs it with rare dedication. He's always available and attentive to every need, ready to expertly recommend wines and specialties. You can clearly sense the commitment and love he puts into his work, and this makes everything even more special.

Simply excellent! Each panini is made with passion, fresh ingredients and an incredible combination of flavors. The owner, a figure of style and mystery, gives the shop a special personality. A place like no other!

Great food with special flavors. Bravo to the creator who, being a special character, satisfied us and served us with a smile. Unfortunately, we did not know the language to understand what he was saying to us, but what he suggested was delicious. If we find ourselves in Siena again, we will gladly eat at his restaurant again.

Every now and then, throughout my days, I think about Gino Cacino. Just like that, for no reason at all. Actually, there's a reason. I've been back to Siena five times just for those sandwiches. And I'll be back again. Nothing more needs to be said.

As soon as you enter, you're enchanted by the bougainvillea-covered entrance—a small corner of beauty that foreshadows the special atmosphere of the place.
The sandwiches are truly delicious, but even more so than their deliciousness is the experience that stays with you: the one Gino gives you with his passion.
To those who have written negative reviews complaining about the wait, I'd like to say that if you're looking for a ready-to-eat sandwich, this isn't the place for you—and there are plenty of others in Siena. Here, Gino does everything himself: he prepares the sandwiches on the spot, serves them, keeps them clean... and the true experience lies in enjoying the wait, watching him in action, examining the ingredients, and being in a one-of-a-kind place, full of writing, details, and personalities that tell its story.
We never fail to stop by every time we pass through Siena.

Scoperto per caso, Angelo è diventato per noi un ricordo indelebile.
Varcare la soglia del suo laboratorio significa intraprendere un viaggio gastronomico in cui ogni dettaglio è frutto di ricerca e passione. Abbiamo acquistato dei panini da gustare due ore dopo: Angelo ci ha guidati passo passo su come rigenerarli per esaltarne profumi e sapori.
Laboratori così – e le persone che vi dedicano anima e cuore – meritano di essere protetti e celebrati.
