This little place is almost hidden, but it's just 50 meters from Piazza del Campo. To get in, you have to slalom between the magnificent plants surrounding the entrance.
The dishes are mainly sandwiches and mixed appetizers. The ingredients, such as cured meats and cheeses, are carefully selected and high-quality, and the sandwich toppings are homemade. Overall, we ate very well, and we were also reasonably priced.
The place has a lot of character, but it's really dirty. There was only one person working there who couldn't serve everyone properly. I advise the gentleman to smile a little more and treat customers more amicably, even though he did exchange a few jokes with us at the end.
If it weren't for the cleanliness and service, I would have given it 5 stars!

A menu of sandwiches to suit all tastes, and an excellent selection of wines and beers. However, the place is very dirty, and the owner is rude and annoyed... perhaps he's taking advantage of the fact that the place is listed in a Lonely Planet guide and tourists flock in.

Lovely place, as was the sandwich making. Everything is carefully prepared and all before your eyes. Delicious sandwich. Highly recommended because everything is freshly made and of high quality, unlike other now "commercial" sandwich shops.

If you come here, it's to live an experience.
You have to agree to come and take a break in this beautiful city of Siena. Just while the sandwiches are prepared one by one with great care.
Adults and children alike really enjoyed these sandwiches, and it's possible to choose glasses of wine by following the instructions.
I recommend it for those who aren't in a hurry because yes, it's long, it's not easy to navigate the menus... but that's okay, just come and enjoy this moment.

A real gem! We highly recommend trying the paninis selected by the chef: surprising and memorable flavor combinations. Between the delicate aglione sauce, the osso bucco that literally melts in your mouth, and the stracciatella sausage tartare, each bite is a journey.
Gino, a true enthusiast, took the time to chat with us and share his love of fine products. As a result, I bought some aglione to try recreating his famous sauce at home.
