I NEVER leave reviews, but I couldn't help but make an exception for this place. The place is magical, just steps from Piazza del Campo but away from the tourist crowds. If you're in a hurry or used to being spoiled and want things done your way, look elsewhere. It's the kind of place where you have to respect the owner's manners, timing, and (excellent) taste. The selection is vast, with sandwiches of all kinds, some very original and elaborate. Special mention goes to the vegetarian options, which aren't limited to a few trivial items to please this clientele; they're also extremely carefully crafted and original in flavor, mouth-watering. I repeat: EXCELLENT. The best sandwich of my life. I'd return to Siena just to try other of the delicacies offered here (and I will).
