A must stop if you go to Siena! An excellent experience with both the food and the place itself, starting from the entrance. Welcoming owner with interesting and particular menus. You can see and feel the passion that is in every detail. Highly recommended and I hope to be able to return as soon as possible despite being from Rome because even after years the quality is always very high and the experience is unique.

Excellent and characteristic experience, when you enter you are transported to another place where good food reigns supreme. The wait to eat is worth every single second and the price is proportionate to the quality of the food. The sandwiches are unique, all freshly prepared with care by the owner. Highly recommended if you want to spend time in a unique place in Siena.

Sandwiches of exceptional quality, you can see the love with which the manager designed and created them. He does not compromise with the customer to affirm his passion and does not make changes to his preparations with variations in ingredients, with which he wants to create a gastronomic experience made up of his experience and creativity. The only star for the service is due to the fact that given the courtesy he requires during his work and the numerous signs in which he appreciates it from the customer, the polite request to use the bathroom was freed with a fleeting "he's out of service". Unfortunately, this lack did not allow me to fully enjoy the excellent snack, having to hold back the pleasure to contain my liberation. I hope that the bathroom will be available again soon because perhaps this service is not a courtesy but an obligation for a manager of a restaurant with table seating.

Twice I have been to Angelo and twice I left happy, both because it is a thematic tasting experience (in our case, the theme was Eros) equivalent to a starred cuisine but expressed in sandwiches, and because there is always way to hear some interesting story from Angelo. Only note, going in the summer or during the palio often means waiting a long time, but honestly the wait is more than worth it. Mandatory stop in Siena.
