Gibran In Venezia

Dra i locali etnici che ho conosciuto Gibran mi è sembrato possedere il gusto mediorentale piú autentico ed in fatti è frequentato da persone del luogo. Il menu vomprende una serie du starters a scelta, comprese la varie salse hummus labbeh ecc. e le portate principali a base di carne pesce o riso. I dolci sono fatti in casa. Il serviziio non è rapidissimo ma nel complesso rappresenta un luogo valido fuori dalla zona turistica, nel sestiere Cstello. È un locale piccolo con circa 30 coperti per cui è bene prenotare. Prezzi competitivi.

Bell'ambiente, personale accogliente, cibo buono e prezzi contenuti. Ottima esperienza, forse non tantissima la scelta ma è un'esperienza consigliata.

Great halal option that does Lebanese food - rare to find a place like this in Venice. We ordered the mixed grill for 2 people and the hummus. The taste was excellent, tasted very fresh and high quality meats. I’ve not given 5 star because the mixed grill didn’t come with any sides - which one would normally expect based on the price. The skewers were also smaller than I’ve previously experienced at other Lebanese or Iranian restaurants. Price wise it is on the higher end I believe - we paid €65 for the mixed grill, 2 drinks, hummus and water. However, for Venice that’s probably average! All in all we were happy with our meal and the service by the waiter/chef. We would recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a halal experience in Venice.

Fixed stop every time I go to Venice! I have tried other Lebanese restaurants but this remains my favourite: the flavor combinations are very particular and never predictable. I particularly recommend the courgette and pomegranate molasses cream (mtabbal) and the sesame-based dessert. The service and ambience are also great, it's definitely worth a stop if you're in Venice!
