This place was AMAZING! I was in Rome for 9 days with my family and every day we came back to this lovely gelato shop! We made the mistake of trying several different places and they all tasted like sorbet, nothing like the creamy freshness I was used to at this wonderful place! There was wonderful service and he made us feel like locals! I wish I lived around the corner from the shop so I could come back every day! Ellery, Age 11

The gelato is generous, with a very good texture and flavor. In the back, you can see the workshop where the owner makes authentic artisanal gelato. Extra cream is included in the price. The space isn't very large: a bench seats two inside. A small high table with two stools is outside. So, the gelato here is suitable for takeout. The owner is friendly and welcoming. It's important to know, however, that they only accept cash.

Best gelato we had in Italy. Friendly service and the fruit flavors were so fresh - banana gelato tasted like spoonfuls of actual bananas. We had the chocolate flavor too and it was rich and creamy.

Amazing little gelato shop and wonderful and friendly owner. Every flavor we got was amazing! I would come back and try them all. My favorite was the salted pistachio and strawberry. The owner was so kind and sweet to my 2 year old and chatted with us as well. Can't wait to try more flavors!

BEST. BEST. BEST. It just does not get any better. A hole in the wall gelato business deserving the best of praises. It seems we were greeted by the owner; He was very nice, funny, and even though we didn’t have enough coin, because he doesn’t accept credit cards, he still gratefully accepted what we did have. This is the epitome of customer service. He will forever, and ever, have my business.

29/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant in the center of San Polo dei Cavalieri. The food was excellent, the staff friendly, and the prices were average. The portions were good and generous. I highly recommend it.
03/11/2025: A charming location, easily accessible by car or a short walk from San Polo dè Cavalieri. Wonderful views inside, outside, and around the property, complete with a pool and terraces overlooking the valley. The dining rooms are well-maintained and meet every guest's needs. The spaces are adequate for both groups and couples, ensuring social distancing is maintained. The food and drinks are of the highest quality and fully meet expectations: no matter what you choose, everything is delicious and prepared with great care. Special mention goes to the dining room staff, who are courteous, attentive, and just the right amount of presence, never inappropriate or out of place. Among the restaurant's many virtues, this is the one that deserves special attention, because it's never a given. Highly recommended if you're passing through; but consider that you could also opt specifically for lunch or dinner at San Polo!
