Having stumbled upon this Gelateria Veneta in Lucca in Via Fillungo by chance, we treated ourselves to a fresh and sweet break on the hot days of July. Excellent artisanal ice cream

The best ice cream ever! The crêpes are also delicious! Very kind staff. It has now become our fixed stop in Lucca. Please never move because without your ice creams we can't resist!❤️

Delicious classic Italian ice cream. You can try it without fear of making a mistake. We sat outside and the place was beautiful. The city is beautiful. It's very worth it. It is close to the city's entrance gate.

Probably THE greatest joy of La Dolce Vita is enjoying authentic fresh local gelato as handed down over four generations which changes with the fruit in season from the lovely family of Veneta (and our favorite vivacious aunt is at the Via Anfiteatro location)! You will mingle with local families savoring their daily gelato or picking up dessert to bring home for formal celebrations while getting advice on traditional Italian combinations (Top hint: it’s not lemon and chocolate!) And when we bring guests they quickly make it their daily routine too! Not to be missed when you visit Lucca!

You want to eat gelato here because it is the best in Lucca, the staff is courteous and professional, and the shop is bright and convenient. I’ved tried gelato at all the gelaterie in Lucca, and this is the best. It is artisanal, and they have flavors that follow the seasons. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is close to everything!

Surprisingly good for a tourist hotspot!

There was a good selection, we ordered a total of 6 scoops and tried our way through. Some varieties were very tasty, but the fruity varieties tasted slightly watery.
