06/02/2025: Our journey evolves into a journey towards the unknown, into an opaque world, which in some places is even risky. Finally, the reddish building in front of us is a kind of barrier, a border beyond which reality becomes almost suggestive. Once you enter the Locanda del Fornaio, that sense of bewilderment that you perceive when walking along the old Via Collatina vanishes. Shabby chic atmosphere, excellent food, courtesy and kindness. But above all you have the opportunity to enjoy a lunch or a simple coffee in front of the Vergine Aqueduct, in this stretch emerging from the ground. The only one still functioning, of the eleven Roman aqueducts, supplies - among others - the Trevi Fountain. In short, a unique place. It would be nice to present a book here.

11/01/2025: I went there when I was little on Sundays to get some excellent bread, I was looking for where to have lunch on New Year's Day... excellent choice, it feels like being at home, friendly staff, a very informal place but I recommend it
