The last cake purchased and passed off as a cake with Chantilly cream, instead contained eggnog cream: the taste note of the eggnog was evident. It also happened to me another time for a chocolate and nut cake, which also had an alcoholic note, which was not reported. Having expressly communicated that they were birthday cakes for children, there must be neither alcohol nor alcoholic taste notes otherwise they will not be eaten, and therefore I am directed towards a different choice.
