Passing by chance, I tried the fruit gelato, which I found particularly creamy and delicious, especially the coconut flavor. A lovely discovery, I'd go back, especially because there's a good selection and you can eat it on the premises.

The best gelato in Lucca and beyond..😋 Regarding the terrace, I think it's right to reserve it for those served at the table. Otherwise, people with a small gelato could occupy it for hours, taking away space from those who would be more entitled to it.

A very cute place with meticulous attention to detail. The terrace with table service is stunning, with a river view and a perfect breeze for enjoying a delicious gelato or a drink in pleasant company. Reservations are recommended for the terrace, although the two times I've been, I've always found a spot for two. The place doesn't just serve gelato, but also offers a variety of cocktails, including alcoholic, low-alcohol, and non-alcoholic drinks, all of which are excellent. There are additional tables below the terrace for those who want to enjoy gelato and a drink without table service.

The gelato has always been one of the best in Lucca, a special mention for those of us who are lactose intolerant. They have pistachio and hazelnut flavors, so not just fruit, but lactose-free and delicious. The cocktails are exceptional, and Thomas and his team will recommend them for you and dedicate their expertise to their preparation!

21/08/2025: We went last night, and I must say the experience far exceeded my expectations. The tagliatelle al ragù was simply extraordinary: perfectly cooked pasta and topped with a rich, flavorful ragù. The pork shank with potatoes was truly a surprise: incredibly tender and beautifully seasoned. The service also deserves special mention: the waiters were always attentive and helpful. The wine list is also noteworthy, very extensive and featuring select labels that pair perfectly with the dishes. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made everything even more enjoyable. It's definitely a place we'll happily return to.

15/08/2025: We've been coming to this place for many years. It's a historic pizza spot in Lucca. A family atmosphere welcomes customers and makes them feel at home. The pizza is excellent; I love Calogero's pita bread, which I think is the best. They also have a good selection of beers and desserts; the croccantino is a classic. The place also offers outdoor seating under a pergola overlooking a fully enclosed and well-kept garden, where children can play safely in a small playground.
