This bar has a really convenient location, making it ideal for a quick break. However, the overall experience was not entirely satisfactory.
The prices are a little above average: a coffee and a small bull's eye cost me €3.40, a cost that would be more acceptable if the service and quality were impeccable. Unfortunately, although there were very few customers, the wait was quite long, which left a feeling of disorganisation.
As for the products, the coffee was disappointing: it was a little too long and the flavor was more reminiscent of a mix of barley or tea rather than a good espresso. The bull's eye, however, slightly balanced the experience: the shortcrust pastry was decidedly good and the chocolate filling was abundant and tasty.
In summary, it is a bar that may be good for its location and some sweet products, but the quality-price ratio and the service did not completely convince me. Greater attention to these aspects could greatly improve the overall experience.

Unfortunately today the hot chocolate was not good, because it had a strange taste.
I am sorry.

A place that has been present in the area for a long time, renowned for the quality of its products and the services offered in the ice cream and pastry sector.
From a first, quick glance from the outside you can see why it is one of the most popular places in Pordenone. I enter almost with awe, asking to be seated at a table. I find a seat immediately also because I arrive almost at closing time. The staff welcomes me smiling and helpful. I ask for the menu to have a look at the ice cream list.
I immediately find a proposal that catches my attention and I don't hesitate to ask for it: the Eis Zabaione cup.
The moment they bring it to the table it is also described to me as if we were in a high-level restaurant: immeasurable class.
The staff is proud to present their home-made zabaglione revisited, I would say, Friulian style. Oh yes, you understood correctly: exactly Friulian style! But, question... how can you revisit a Friulian zabaglione?
The answer, it will soon be said, lies here: in the Gelateria Montereale laboratory. The secret, and the answer key, is in the liquor used. There is no trace of Marsala or Maraschino aroma but rather of Verduzzo di Ramandolo liqueur. It also contains notes of marked sweetness but much less incisive and more balanced in flavor.
The result? Amazing. The result is a product that blends impeccably with the cream ice cream, is very well creamed and becomes unique with the eggnog cream. A symphony of tastes masterfully directed by the local pastry chefs. Among other things, this peculiar egg cream has had such success with the public that it has led the owners to make it available to customers in jars that can be purchased separately.
Another flagship product that is enjoying great success is the real, inimitable, Biscotto Pordenone. A round biscuit with a center of corn flour which makes it delicate in taste but rough in texture. A contrast that gives just that little something necessary to make it remembered and appreciated by the palates of the customers who taste it. Also in this case the product is marketed in attractive transparent bags closed by a red fabric strap of various weights.
Never as for this place can we say that the fame is more deserved than ever.

Excellent patisserie, very good and unique pastries and pastries. Oven-cooked krapfen, very light and delicious. Also try their fruit juices. Good assortment of cakes and the legendary Pordenone biscuit. Friendly and very professional staff.
