I know and occasionally frequent this tiny ice cream shop adjacent to a small car park that is almost always busy; the external environment, as seen in some photos of other customers, is pleasant, airy, clean, very suitable for children and those who have pets, the ice cream is decidedly good "they don't have the lactose-free one" the flavors are few but in my opinion sufficient , the only real flaw is the quantity compared to the price, very little stuff for what you pay. Ice cream shop which I still recommend. rated 3 and 1/2 stars.

Very good and quite assorted ice cream... Good prices for the product offered (I had the ice cream) then I'll try crepes 🥞 and yogurt... When I went there it was the week of August and obviously I had to queue a bit... I guess it's not always like this, I waited 10 minutes... But it was worth it....

09/10/2024: One of the largest institutions in Viareggio. This is a quiet and well-kept place suitable for all types of customers The food is excellent and the dishes recall the local tradition The family atmosphere will make you feel at home and I am sure that if you stop once you will do it again and again I absolutely recommend you come and meet La Checca and all its staff
22/09/2024: Very nice outdoor pub-style place at the entrance to the pine forest, the service could be improved for those who are not local like me for the explanation of the typical dishes... But otherwise everything was excellent (even the price)

01/11/2024: Very nice and good restaurant. Despite our (very) bad Italian, we were able to communicate pleasantly with the staff. To do again.
20/08/2024: I found this pizzeria by chance looking for a place to eat near the Viareggio promenade and I couldn't have chosen better. Very friendly staff, both the waitress and the cashier were two very nice ladies. I ate a red pizza with stracciatella (the mistral) and I practically devoured it. If you like flat pizzas absolutely recommended, light and crunchy dough. Finally, on the advice of other reviews and the waitress, I took the homemade tiramisu, which I think I ate in less than a minute, very good! Should I return to Viareggio I will definitely come back to eat a pizza here, highly recommended
