I am a regular customer of this ice cream shop and can't help but highly recommend it! The quality of the ice cream is simply extraordinary, with intense flavors and a creaminess that can be felt with every spoonful. Every time I come, I find a variety of flavors that are always fresh and prepared with the highest quality ingredients. Furthermore, the service is impeccable: the staff is always courteous, welcoming and ready to recommend the right flavor based on your desires. It's really a pleasure to come here and enjoy such good ice cream. If you love good ice cream, this ice cream shop is a must!

Excellent quality and fantastic flavours I often go for an ice cream that tastes fantastic On Saturday I went and I chose not only the new "Fiesta" flavor but also the new "Babà" flavor Flavors that reflect reality!!!! Both the ice cream shop and the bar service are good. Welcoming and clean place. The two owners and the girls at the counters are always friendly and helpful.

Good cappuccino coffee for me and my wife, I must say the ice cream is also very good but a little expensive... 3 euros 2 flavors although the ice cream is good it's a little tight. Very friendly staff, clean place. In total I give 5 stars because I don't feel like denigrating a place or a valid product, but a little more ice cream and an extra flavor I don't think will ruin the budget. Highly recommended

30/03/2025: First time at this place. The interior is very nice and welcoming, typical of a pub. It also has lots of tables outside so perfect in summer. Fast service and excellent food. We will definitely be back. Been back several times, always impeccable and fast service. Last night, we had brought some friends, praising the speed of the service and the goodness of the dishes, but we were disappointed because although they took the order as soon as we arrived, they brought the dishes to us after 45 minutes and the baked potatoes, usually exceptional, only tasted of rosemary. I hope it was a coincidence.... Tried the King and Queen sandwiches, really good
31/01/2025: If Checkmate has existed for twenty years, there must be a reason. The place is very familiar, everyone is extremely kind. The food is very good, and Alberto is one of the nicest people I could meet in my life. Suitable for everyone, adults and children. GREAT ADVICE

21/03/2025: I was there for several days for work and I am grateful for the service and the food, everything was great and even though I didn't speak Italian I felt like I was in every place, the hospitality was excellent :)
21/03/2025: The food was quite good, although the portions were not too generous, for the type of place. Too bad we were cold during lunch! 😔
