05/11/2025: As a foodie and lover of Piedmontese cuisine, I can say that Casa Broglia is no ordinary restaurant. It's a true home. The name of the business is perfectly fitting. I felt pampered, as if I were a guest kindly asked to take off my shoes and put on slippers so as not to dirty the porcelain stoneware floor. But speaking of food, because that's what it's all about, I found the mixed antipasto the perfect solution for those who want to taste a mix of typical Piedmontese dishes, including a delicious battuta or tartare (even if the latter term is gastronomically inappropriate) and a special, creamy veal with tuna sauce. I ordered a boiled meat served with three sauces, including the Salsa Bianca, which almost left me hanging at the table after I found Satan dancing in my nasal septum and burning my airways. But this attempted murder aside, I admit that the boiled meat was truly exquisite and tender; The two remaining sauces were smooth, especially the salsa verde. My partner ordered the agnolotti al plin, and I had the pleasure of sampling them with my refined palate. After years of working in this profession, I've learned that a good dish needs few words to describe it. The agnolotti were idyllic. That said, the restaurant is excellent and highly recommended. The price is truly fair.
02/11/2025: We were very disappointed by this restaurant. We didn't have any particular expectations when we came to eat in this very lively and touristy square... but we have to admit that the whole evening was a failure. On the positive side: the location, the atmosphere outside, the initial welcome and seating were very good, and the waitress was pleasant. The dishes were served very quickly, and the pepper flan was very tasty. On the negative side... another waitress practically threw a basket of bread onto the table, and the dishes... no effort was made to make them appetizing, no side dishes except for a few drops of sauce on the side. Overall, it wasn't very good; we couldn't finish anything :( When it came time to pay, another waitress did ask us if we were disappointed since we hadn't finished anything. Thank you to her. But in the end, a rushed meal in less than an hour, rather expensive, very disappointing, and the feeling of being a bother left a bad taste in our mouths.
