There is no comparison: CEA Gelaterie in Almè is the best of the best, and I'm not just saying that. Anyone who has been there knows it. The ice creams are gigantic, ultra ultra abundant, stuff that almost makes you wonder if they made a mistake in serving you too much... and instead no, it's exactly like that: lots, good and at a super honest price. For 2 euros you can get a cone with 2 flavors that is twice the size of those in some "posh" ice cream shops that charge you three times as much for two sad teaspoons. At CEA, on the other hand, the ice cream is nice and full, tall, creamy, with real flavors that really taste like what they say: from strawberry to pistachio, from hazelnut to stracciatella, every bite is a bomb. And it doesn't end there: the area is wonderful. There is a quiet little square, convenient parking, and for the kids (or even for us kids when we want to have fun) there are trampolines and inflatables, a real playground just steps away from the ice cream. The staff is always kind, fast, smiling. You go there and you feel good, period. No endless waiting, no snobbish attitude, just people who love doing their job and making customers happy. And then: open every day, with super convenient hours. You can go whenever you want, and every time it's a satisfaction. CEA Gelaterie is not just an ice cream shop: it's an institution. Once you go there, you never go back. Far from Pan di Zucchero or cover locations: CEA wins 10 to 0. And those who know it... know it.
