Caprilli was the last place we got gelato from before we headed back to Canada. The gelato was delightful and I hope I can remember the taste years later.
I ordered mostly in Italian and was happy that they understood me. Just before paying, my partner wanted to add a flavour to my cone, but because of a communication issue between me and my partner, my partner ended up getting a separate cone. Despite this, he enjoyed his cone.
I loved my gelato, but it was melting very quickly and getting my fingers all sticky. It wasn’t a very hot day - we visited in April 2025. I don’t think I’ve ever seen gelato melt this quickly, so I don’t know if this is normal with gelato in Italy or if I’m a slower eater.

My preferred gelateria in Livorno. Top quality ice creams, chocolate, hot chocolate on winter is also amazing! Still the number one for me for so many years. They have now expanded to cakes and chocolates!

I was served by Francesco, who expertly prepared beautiful gift boxes of sweets. Everything looked beautiful and tasted delicious! Great service, attention to detail, and a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this ice cream shop – I will definitely be back! 🍦🎁✨

I stumbled upon a gelato shop while walking along the beach. I love pistachio, so I always stop by every gelato place I visit, but this one was bland. The lemon flavor was decent, but the base was more milky than sorbet-like, which was a bit disappointing. Two flavors cost €2.50, the same price for both cones and cups.

I've been there before, but something must have changed. It used to be our favorite in Livorno, but this time we weren't satisfied. I can confirm the presence of a large dog, mentioned in other reviews, that seems to roam freely between the restaurant and the back room.
