Stumbled upon Gelateria Bartocci and we were absolutely obsessed! Vegan pistachio gelato was pure perfection - creamy, intensely nutty, and authentically Sicilian without any dairy.

Gelateria not far from Porta Pia, highly recommended — the only downside is that there’s no space to enjoy the ice cream outside the shop. Other than that, top-notch!

28/07/2025: The place is impossible to reach by car, and even the directions weren't clear at all. There's only a pedestrian crossing. The place has a good view of the sea, and on Saturday there was even live music. The appetizers were very good, and the first courses were also good, but be careful with the tonnarello with clams; it was full of sand, and I almost hurt my teeth several times. The pasta was edible, but a little overcooked.
