Excellent artisanal ice cream, with traditional and new flavors created by the owner. Completely renovated, it is confirmed as the best artisanal ice cream shop in Trastevere.

Abbiamo visto la proposta dei gusti del giorno che ci ha attratto, coppetta piccola abbondante e la panna è inclusa nel prezzo. Ottimo il pesto di pistacchio, e il cremino arachidi e caramello.

I'll start by saying that I've eaten some ice cream, especially in Trastevere, but the one from the La Scala ice cream shop isn't comparable to any of the others. Something incredible. I recommend you try it, you won't regret it…

Good reviews are no guarantee of great ice cream. Sure, most German ice cream parlors would be happy with this ice cream, compared to, for example, Giolitti or Venchi, this one is poor. So you can eat ice cream here, but to really enjoy it you should go elsewhere. The steps of the church are “the” ice cream stop in the area.

25/01/2025: A good pizza restaurant, welcoming and warm room, very large and sometimes crowded. Large spaces also outside. Rich and delicious starters, good choice of meats and different cuts. Low classic "Roman" pizza. Service ok, honest bill

03/03/2025: The all you can eat idea is nice, with typical dishes from different parts of the world, but not excellent in quality. you don't eat badly, but you expect something more that was missing.
27/02/2025: A good buffet place where the quality is good including drinks. It doesn't have the personality of a typical restaurant as it is inside a hotel but all in all it's ok!
