And if I take 10 cones I risk paying €8 more or less?! It doesn't seem very normal to me

At first it seemed unbelievable that this ice cream parlor was full half an hour before closing. But in hindsight it is completely understandable, as we got big scoops and all the ice cream was very tasty.
