Beautiful place and well prepared food, shame about the slow, inattentive and unhelpful service

If it wasn't for the staff this place would be a 5 star. We went to the seaside for a couple's dinner. We ate well but the service was not good. Slow service and staff were not good. The blonde lady who is more on point and attentive but tired as hell. The boy was perhaps in his early days because he came several times to bring us dishes that were not ours or took our dish to an empty table. In short, the food was good and the atmosphere was good but the service could be improved.

We went to this restaurant recommended by our holiday neighbors for the pizza, super sponsored, but we were really disappointed by the service. When we arrived there were only 3 tables, the waitress immediately seemed superficial, unfriendly, to "what beers do you have?", I was answered "the ones in bottles over there at the counter". I had to get up and go look at the beers in the fridge. I wanted to order the vegetable platter, I asked what type of vegetables there were and I was always told "those of the day prepared by the kitchen, plus potatoes". Apparently it wasn't possible to ask exactly what vegetables they had in the kitchen: I offered again to get up and go and ask with her, but it couldn't be done. Bah. The order was therefore a leap in the dark. I want to say that unfortunately the potatoes were old and I found it rather incorrect. Grilled vegetables are "acceptable" if left over from lunch. But not potatoes. I beg you. Or at least write “leftovers from lunch” on the menu. Because old, cold potatoes are inedible and on this basis the price was a steal (14 euros). Pizza and fried food, however, were excellent. Returning to service, the beers arrive at the table, she practically threw them at us: a bottle was falling, I was quick to catch it, she didn't even bother to mention an apology. If I had been alone, I probably would have gotten up for the second time at that point, but to leave. Fortunately, the restaurant soon filled up and another person, I imagine the owner, also dedicated himself to the service. On the contrary very courteous and helpful. Only two people serving at the tables, the times took a little longer, but it is understandable and forgivable when on the other side there is courtesy, respect and kindness. Characteristics that I found in the other person at the service and not in her who, on the contrary, when we tried to ask her something, he lowered his gaze and walked straight. I've been a waitress for years, a bartender and I feel exactly in the right position to judge a service: this is the first time ever that I don't leave a tip. I was really very sorry.

During our stay in Sperlonga we went back twice to Gazebo: we loved it! We had gluten free tiella the first time and gluten free pizza the second. You have to call at least 4 hours in advance to book gluten free food but it's worth it! Our favourite was the octopus tiella :)

The food was really excellent: all fish super fresh and cooked very well. Some problems only with the service, but honestly such as not to jeopardize the dinner. Peaceful environment: a little more attention to the mise en place would make this place perfect. Last thing: almost the entire menu is also gluten-free, which in these parts is a mirage

I want to point out the kindness of the manager at the bar. We had a coffee and when it was time to pay, he told us that he didn't have the change and that he would therefore give it to us. A very nice gesture....naturally the next day we came back to pay off the "debt". Thanks again!

You eat divinely, abundant dishes, very fresh fish, everything is perfect and the staff are friendly

Consigliatissimo!!! Pesce fresco , adatto per vegetariani, buona la carta dei vini.. staff gentile e veloce.Ho prenotato su consiglio di alcune persine conosciute in un meraviglioso hotel la’vicino, dovendo rientrare in serata a Rima ho prenotato per le ore19,30.. nonostante avessero avuto pranzo con comunioni e cresime.. era tutto impeccabile, buon antipasto con alici fritte verdure e tiella,la terrazza vista mare bellissima..varie scelte di primi, consigliatissima sia la ricciola che il rombo ..molto buoni, l entrecote anche, Siamo riusciti a cenare velocemente, sicuramente ci torneremo, eravamo in quattro persone ed il servizio veloce.. il prezzo ottimo.. lo consiglio.

I went to hear my nephew play in a boy band. Very good. The gazebo is a typical open-air restaurant where it is pleasant to come in the summer. The food, while not exciting, was still of a good standard. Unfortunately not the pizza.
