Gatto Nero In Viggiù

Pleasant atmosphere nostalgic of the old days.

I was pleasantly surprised by this very rural, welcoming trattoria, where you can relax and spend time in good company, as if you were in another era! The food was excellent, beautifully cooked, and the portions were generous. The service was also excellent, considering it's a family-run restaurant, and they were very friendly. We shared a first course, but they actually brought us two whole portions, charging us for one. We also had a grilled steak with beans and a Milanese cutlet with a side of divinely flavored potatoes, both very generous portions, plus water and service charge. All in all, €14 per person for two people, for a grand total of €28. What more can I say? If only we weren't from the South, we'd become regulars!
