This is an absolute insider tip. A changing daily menu. The service is so attentive and friendly. Many regulars come here. It's definitely good value for money. There's a large parking lot. Small children can entertain themselves in the small playground.

Very tasty food, very friendly, quick service and an ambiance under the trees that couldn't be more beautiful on a summer evening.

We stumbled upon Zum Falken in Girlan quite by chance – and were completely thrilled. The hospitality was exceptionally warm; you immediately feel welcome. The food was really good – fresh, regional, and made with love. Our children were also well looked after; overall, it was very child-friendly and relaxed. What was particularly nice was the quiet location and the pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. You can tell it's a family business – with a lot of personal commitment and attention to detail. The prices are absolutely fair. A definite recommendation!

I've stayed in so many hotels in the UK, Europe and the USA that I don't normally write a review as they're all usually OK. But this time, Zum Falken has been so amazing that it has caused me to write. As they say, they are a family hotel, and it shows. The rooms were well appointed, cleaned really well on a daily basis; comfortable with excellent window shutters and a brilliant view of the snow covered Dolomites in the distance from the balcony. A really large car park and the restaurant with such lovely meals with so much fresh produce. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone you asked to do something for you or help with. I didn't want to leave.

The beer garden is beautiful and in a quiet location. The food was delicious. The service was attentive, warm, and friendly. You feel comfortable and at home. Keep it up!

This family hotel deserves more than 5 stars. We had the Water Lily Suite with a small kitchenette and dining area, 2 separate sleeping options, everything was well-maintained and up-to-date in the historic part of the hotel with a very large balcony with a fantastic view. There is a fantastic outdoor heated pool with a comfortable sunbathing area. The breakfast is also plentiful and extensive. The hotel also has a restaurant divided into several different, traditional areas. The cuisine is highly recommended and varied. Outside there is a very well-maintained beer garden with a large play area for children. All of this is managed by the entire Niedermayr family, who deserve special praise. They are always there from breakfast in the morning until late in the evening, with a warm, friendly manner that is truly rare these days. We would love to come back.

Today is our fifth vacation with our dog at the Hotel "Zum Falken." It's always simply wonderful. Family-run, everyone is super friendly. There's a beautiful garden where you can have breakfast and sit in the evening.

Wir sind nun schon zum wiederholten Mal im Falken gewesen (über Ostern). Wir werden immer herzlich Empfangen bis zur liebevollen Betreuung während des gesamten Aufenthalts: Hier wird Gastfreundschaft wirklich gelebt. Das gesamte Team ist sehr herzlich, aufmerksam und immer ein lächeln auf Lager. Die Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, gepflegt und gemütlich – einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Auch die Atmosphäre im ganzen Haus strahlt Wärme und Geborgenheit aus. Man merkt: Hier steckt ganz viel Herzblut drin. Das Frühstück war wieder ein Traum – frisch, regional, vielfältig und mit so viel Liebe angerichtet. Hervorzuheben jeden Morgen das frisch zubereitete Rührei oder Spiegelei Ein riesiges Dankeschön an das ganze Team – für die Herzlichkeit, die liebevollen Kleinigkeiten und dieses besondere Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!
