I was just sitting on the terrace as a day guest. The location was good, the service was okay, but I didn't feel "welcome."

We were on vacation here by the lake for 10 days. If you just come to the restaurant for a bite to eat, you have a beautiful view of Lake Kaltern from the terrace. The rooms were very fresh every morning after housekeeping. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning, and it was way too hot at night. There was also no refrigerator to keep drinks cold. But it was still very nice. The service was always very friendly and cheerful. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

We visited the restaurant and really enjoyed it. The menu is plentiful, and the seating is lovely with a view of the lake. The only downside was that the wait for the food was a bit short. Everything was on the table within five minutes of ordering. Nevertheless, it was tasty and well-prepared. The prices are on the higher end.

We spent eight days at this beautifully situated inn on Lake Kaltern. The location is simply fantastic, with direct access to the lake for hotel guests. The restaurant is very good with excellent service and outstanding cuisine. The entire team is very helpful and friendly. You immediately feel like you're on vacation upon arrival. We will definitely come back and highly recommend you.

The quiet location directly on the lake is unbeatable. Hotel guests have access to a beautiful private garden with lake access. There's always plenty of space and enough loungers for everyone. The food in the restaurant is very good. The service is friendly. The waiter, Carmelo, in particular, is always joking with the children; very nice! The rooms are a good size, and the bathroom has been recently renovated. There are two extra beds available for children. The value for money is good. You pay a bit for the wonderful lakeside location.

We only visited the beer garden. It was beautifully situated by the lake. The food and drinks were good. Prices were on the high side.

Here, passing through to visit the lake, we stopped for an aperitif, but then we had lunch. For the excellent welcome and really quality food, excellent also the wine list. I recommend it. With a spectacular lake view, it is really nice to be outdoors.

This experience is worth telling: By bike from Bolzano to Lake Caldaro – a beautiful bike ride, simply unforgettable! When we arrived at the lake, we happened to pass the Klughammer Inn. The outdoor pool had actually attracted us, so we cycled down from the road out of curiosity – and then discovered the inn. Since we were really hungry, we stopped in. Service: Our two waiters were very friendly, in a joking mood, and moved quickly despite the large crowd. Thank you for the great service and the beautiful spot! Ambience: We sat outside – and it was simply wonderful! Such a beautiful view of the lake. Great! Food: We had Schlutzkrapfen (a kind of doughnut), salad, ice cream, and apple strudel. Everything was delicious – great! Parking: Right in front of the house. Restrooms: Very clean. Conclusion: I can't understand the negative comments about the service. Of course, the food comes at a price – but it's a busy tourist area. The two waiters were cheerful and friendly despite the outdoor area being full. We thank you very much for the wonderful experience – we would love to come back! I always try to give a fair and honest review – based on my experience on that particular day. My goal is to convey the experience in a lively, tangible narrative.
