Gasthof Hotel Sonne In Silandro

We spent a wonderful, relaxing week visiting castles, churches, Marienberg Abbey, and discovering the Venosta Valley, rich in apple orchards. We enjoyed every moment spent with Melania (the owner), savored the food, and, despite being the only Italians in the hotel on some days, we managed to communicate with the table next to us, learning a few German phrases. We'll take home a wonderful memory. Thank you 😘 to the staff!

A highly recommended hotel. Incredibly good value for money. Great room, very friendly staff, and excellent food in the restaurant. I would give it 7 stars if possible.

On the recommendation of our landlady, we stopped here as a family of five, including our children. An absolute highlight on what was, unfortunately, our last day of vacation. Authentic, delicious, light cuisine, no frills, simply simple but good, very good! Starting with great service, followed by the excellent food selection: meat, fish, vegetarian—something for everyone! Dessert—homemade, you could taste it. Attractively presented, priced below par, just like it used to be before the crises, etc. Wiener Schnitzel—real veal, truly tender, truly delicious :-) Thanks Jessi for this recommendation!!
