On the fourth day of my Italian trip, I was struggling with Italian food, so I stopped by for takeout dinner. The service was warm, and I ordered the recommended pizza and waited. There were quite a few takeout customers, and it felt like a famous local restaurant. I returned to my room and had some wine and a meal, and it was absolutely delicious. It wasn't that the Italian food was bad, but rather that the restaurants I'd previously tried were the problem. It was a night of relief. Thank you. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to the Dolomites👍

After two weeks in Italy, we were tired of pizza. Lacking alternatives, we ended up at the Gasthaus Waldrast, where we had the best pizza of our entire Italian vacation. We left full and satisfied at a really fair price, and we'll be back the next evening!...

We stumbled upon the Waldrast by chance, as it was difficult to find a place to eat in Aldein that day. But we absolutely did not regret it. Excellent pizza, reasonable prices. So good that we went back a few days later, albeit without a reservation. Not recommended, as we got the second-to-last table. The only remaining one was occupied shortly after. The Waldrast is very popular and very popular with both locals and holidaymakers. A reservation is highly recommended.
