Four of us dined at this restaurant with a fixed menu. All traditional Ladin dishes. Personally, I would end the dinner with a dessert other than the one they served (fritters with blueberry jam or apple puree), perhaps a sorbet or fresh gelato to finish the meal. The service was quick, and the lady who served us carefully explained each dish. Parking is exclusively for the restaurant. The Cancin with ricotta and spinach is highly recommended: you can season it with poppy seeds or parmesan cheese. The shank was delicious and almost melted in your mouth. Definitely a place worth trying!!!

Excellent food (set menu detailed when booking), bottled wine but paid per drink (I haven't tasted that in ages), desserts served to the max in both quality and quantity, and grappa offered at the end. A very friendly atmosphere, aided by the friendliness of the owner who served. If I ever return to Marebbe, it will be to eat at Garsun again.

Warm atmosphere and good Italian nonna cooking. Very affordable in this expensive neighborhood. After eating, I was out of breath because it was almost impossible to finish. 😃

08/03/2025: Una baita bellissima lungo la pista che scende dal Seceda a Ortisei, al sole ma in mezzo al bosco; una cucina ricca, con tanti piatti squisiti (uova speck e patate e spatzle tra tutti); un servizio super veloce e cortese; un listino prezzi inferiore ad altre baite della zona; un’atmosfera vivace nel pomeriggio. Serve dire altro? Consigliatissima!
31/01/2025: Ogni volta che vengo a Ortisei, tappa obbligata. Questa volta tanta nel bosco, un paesaggio bellissimo per raggiungere la baita… Questo posto è bellissimo estate e inverno. Ogni volta un’occasione perfetta per un dolce o per un pranzo. Servizio ottimo e veloce. Location perfetta per rilassarsi fuori sugli sdrai al sole o in baita. Cibo ottimo e i proprietari tutti TOP. Prezzi assolutamente in linea alla qualità dell’offerta.

11/10/2025: Absolutely amazing! I got the waygu and my husband got the ribeye- best steaks we’ve had in a long time! It came with Parmesan truffle fries, and roasted vegetables which were also delectable. Service was great and fast and atmosphere was great!
