We stumbled upon Gap on our walk back to our hotel after dinner. Wow, what a fateful stumble, because this may be the best gelato we’ve had in Italy (disclaimer: we are tourists from the US). The pistachio gelato is pure and naturally flavored, and it’s clear that they use fresh dairy. The “star of the show” for us was the mascarpone with caramel, though. Delicate, rich, balanced, and comforting.

We came to this pastry shop with my two little girls and we were all thrilled! The brioches are something delicious: soft, fresh and finally someone who fills them properly! The staff is super kind, attentive and smiling, we felt really welcomed.
A special mention goes to the cleaning lady, of infinite sweetness.
A place that really deserves it: we will definitely be back!

Hemos preguntado por una buena gelatina / pastelería en Olbia, ya que mi cumpleaños era próximo y nos hubiera gustado por un pastel mientras visitaba la isla de Cerdeña. Un camarero de un restaurante excepcional anunció este lugar. Pero para nosotros fue un gran error, no nos gustó nada aquí. Compramos 4 tipos diferentes de mini pasteles y otras cosas pequeñas como galletas, pero nos ha decepcionado mucho! Habían dejado muchas cosas dulces exhibidas pero casi nada llamó la atención. Decidimos probar el famoso Maritozzi italiano porque este se veía realmente delicioso, pero desafortunadamente un fracaso total. El bollo estaba seco y después de unos bocados literalmente tuvimos que atravesarlo.
El otro pastoso seco como galletas pequeñas y galletas que compramos para un diente dulce por la mañana no se mantuvo a nuestras necesidades / estándares.

We’ve asked around about a good gelateria / pasticceria in Olbia as my birthday was around the corner while visiting the Island of Sardegna. We wanted to buy a cake and a waiter from a quite upstanding restaurant recommended this place as being one of the best. Unfortunately not for us, big mistake because it didn’t meet our standards/ expectations! We bought 4 different type of mini cakes and the famous italian Maritozzi because this one looked OK in the display but the bun was dry and after a few bites we decided to literally throw it away and we hate throwing food away. We bought as well some biscuits and small cookies for coffee in the morning which have been as well quite disappointing.

Beautiful terrace on the main street of old Olbia
The pastries are good, not exceptional, and a little expensive. Same for hot drinks
