This is our second year back. We've found a guy who works here who really makes it stand out. Everyone's great, though, and the food is delicious and plentiful.

The staff is very friendly, and that alone is worth it. The food is good, with prices average for a place on the slopes. For four people, a dish costs €80 each, plus drinks.

A "Tour of the Alpine Pastures" on the Latemar with a stop at this mountain hut, which is certainly more popular in winter with its classic igloos for a pit stop while skiing. Service is fast, food is good but not exceptional. There are more characteristic locations in the area!

05/01/2026: We had the carbonara and the Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta). Both dishes were fantastic! We also had a salad as a starter. Having gone to the restaurant without any expectations beforehand, we were absolutely delighted by the quality of the food. It's always a good sign when so many locals from Wolkenstein come for lunch.

21/10/2025: We stopped in the second week of October on a hike to the Flaggerscharten Hut, and then on the way back, and enjoyed delicious chocolate cake and coffee. We'd love to come back.
14/10/2025: The exterior features farm animals, children's games, and tables: excellent. The interior is very simple, with traditional food and good prices. It's worth a visit.
