A Truly Unforgettable Evening at Osteria dell’Olio! We recently celebrated a family gathering for 15 people before my son’s wedding, and Nico and his incredible staff absolutely outdid themselves. The food was exceptional — every course was full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and full of joy; everyone enjoyed every single minute of being there. I’ve known Nico for over 20 years, and he continues to be the best manager of any restaurant we’ve visited in Florence. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention to every detail make every experience at Osteria dell’Olio special. He and his team made our entire group feel so welcome and cared for. Beyond the amazing food, what truly made the evening unforgettable was Nico himself. He does his job with his whole heart, and it shows in every interaction. His warmth, generosity, and genuine kindness turned a wonderful meal into a night we will never forget. ❤️ This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars. My family and I will always return whenever we visit Florence — it truly feels like home thanks to Nico and his outstanding team. We came here on vacation just looking for a simple dinner out. The service from all of the staff was amazing, but Nico made the experience unforgettable. It was so great, we had to come back a second time! Their bistecca fiorentina is delicious, extremely fairly priced, and perfectly presented/prepared. Their pastas are delicious as well. We loved our experience here and highly recommend it! Do not skip this place!

I first discovered Osteria Dell’Olio two years ago and was so blown away that I came back the very next night — despite all the incredible dining options Florence has to offer! The food is simply phenomenal — every dish bursting with authentic Italian flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with passion and care. The service is just as remarkable. Nico, our server, was warm, attentive, and made us feel so genuinely welcome. His recommendations were spot-on and added to what was already an exceptional dining experience. This time, I returned with friends after two years of nonstop talk about this place — and it did not disappoint! They were just as amazed as I was. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers this level of quality, consistency, and heart time after time. If you’re visiting Florence, do yourself a favor and make Osteria Dell’Olio a priority. One visit will turn into two… or more!

The food was delicious and the service was great. The gnocchi was delicious.

It was a late lunch, and all the dishes were delicious, but the gnocchi was the best! Nico kindly took care of us, and we had a delicious and enjoyable lunch!
