Located in a path near Santa Maria del fiore, this osteria is a good option for Tuscan cuisine. The environment, either inside or outside, is cozy, the music is relaxing, the portions are tasty and big. Finally the prices are reasonable.

I was here two weeks ago. Good service and delicious food. The bistecca fiorentina was delicious. I also liked that the restaurant opened at 6:00 PM. I'm used to dinners starting at 7:00/30 PM in Italy, but maybe this is central Florence and it's just geared towards tourists, but I was pleasantly surprised 😃

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Firenze, first night just for drinks and ended up returning for dinner due to the amazing service and hospitality by the staff. Especially Nico made us feel incredibly welcome and gave us some of our most memorable experiences on our vacation. Besides the amazing service, the food and drinks were delectable - the Fiorentina steak being a highlight of not just our dinner at Osteria Dell’ Olio, but our entire trip.

This truly worthy osteria behind the cathedral is a real eye-catcher. The welcome is warm but not intrusive, with homemade bread and olive oil. The first courses are delicious. Unfortunately, the portions are generous, and we didn't get to try the meat, but we'll be back!!!

Highly recommended!
