Galatea Village In Eboli

I found the website but as it was Sunday everything was booked. I contacted them via email asking for 4 beds at 3pm and they said they would make it happen. Not expensive, €25 for an umbrella and two beds and then an additional €7 for each bed. On arrival they seemed happy to see us and even though it was busy they were super organised. Sadly we couldn't stay for dinner as eating there on the beach restaurant would have been nice. Such lovely and welcoming people.

A paradise. Too bad the price varies every time. It's never the same.

We go almost every day and have a great time! The staff is super friendly and always available, they really make you feel at ease. The services are excellent and well-organized, and you can tell they care and pay attention to their customers. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a totally relaxing day at the beach!

The setting is magnificent and we ate well.

I'll start with the restaurant because it really deserves 5 stars: the food is very good and the quality/price ratio is top. The staff is very kind and very precise: the dishes arrive at the table covered by a boulle that is lifted once placed on the table, the cutlery is changed when the type of dish changes and after the fish you are given a refreshing lemon towel for your hands! As for the beach and the sea, we paid €25. The parking lot is free but it is not managed by anyone... it is full of dirt and insects of all kinds and is in an absurd state of degradation; they gave us two canvas sunbeds and an umbrella: the beach was not very clean, as soon as we settled in we hurt our foot by hitting an Allen key right next to the sunbed 😐 there were several cigarette butts and other things around, I understand people's rudeness but usually someone should take care of cleaning constantly to be able to guarantee 100%. With access to the beach you can use the showers and the showers to wash your feet but they only provide cold water. There is only one shower in the whole beach but it is locked (which must be collected at the cash desk upon request) that costs 0.50 cents every 2 minutes... unfortunately it is very dirty and the hot water does not come out. (I appreciated that the owner gave me back the coin when I told him it had not worked). The other thing that leaves much to be desired are the bathrooms: there is only one for women who are in the majority, one for the disabled which is locked and three for men... they are quite dirty and old, even the one with the women leaked rivers of water with every flush; the sinks are missing soap... of those present I found it only in one. I think that everything needs to be fixed a bit because the restaurant is very good and the sea is very beautiful, with a little more attention for the guests you can reach the top.

We stumbled upon this spot after a day in Pompeii and a plan to check out Paestum. Hungry and craving calamari, we found this restaurant—without realizing it was part of a beach resort. It was around 4:30 PM, and though the kitchen didn’t open until 6:30, the owner warmly welcomed us and invited us to relax on the beach. He even set up lounge beds and an umbrella for us—no charge. Our kids jumped right into the water and loved it. The beach was beautiful, with soft sand and perfect water. When dinner time came, we had amazing calamari and prawns, plus spaghetti alle vongole, octopus risotto, and burgers for the kids. Everything was fresh and delicious—and again, they didn’t charge us for using the beach. Two days later, while visiting Maiori, we asked the kids if they wanted to go to another beach—but they insisted on going back here. So we did. The owner remembered us and welcomed us back. We enjoyed more calamari and a delicious razor clam dish he recommended. Once again, we were not charged for using the beach facilities, even though we went swimming. The staff made us feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. If we come back to Italy, this will definitely be a place we return to.

Very nice establishment, good restaurant and pizzeria. I recommend an aperitif at sunset with a sea view but above all with a view of the island of Capri 04/07/2025 my wife and I found ourselves at the Galatea Village after a long time and enjoyed two lovely sandwiches at sunset and I must say they were really excellent. I had a seafood sandwich with cod and vegetables and my wife the one with entrecote and battered vegetables and crispy pepper... a sea view.

Kind and polite staff, well organized structure and first class restaurant. Definitely to return
