Very helpful and the food was good, though a little pricey. The atmosphere is typical of a port, but overall everything was fine. I recommend it for a quick pit stop.

A lot better than I had expected. The quality of their pizza felt high. Service was nice. The place it self wasn’t really anything special, my theory is that if it’s to nice turists will come and invade it, when we visited only locals were there. Pizzas were also at a fair price. Dogs were allowed ❤️

I've been going to this place for years. The truth is, it's always crowded, and that's exactly why the owners need to understand that the place needs a refresh. The bathroom hasn't been there for years, and I've even found it clogged. It's nonsense. If you want customers to come back, everything has to be impeccable. I'm truly sorry because the place is in a strategic location, but unfortunately it's been abandoned.

The food was great. It was also quite cheap, and the portions were gigantic. We ordered two pizzas. They were at least 40 cm in diameter. The service was also quite nice. They have a lot of young people working there. We were there during the day on a Saturday to grab a quick bite. It was pretty empty at the time we were there.

26/09/2025: My husband and I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant just steps from our apartment. The girls serving us were incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The menu was excellent.
09/09/2025: We went for dinner last night. The pizza looked excellent, and it smelled so good it made me want to eat another five. The fish was good, though the portions were perhaps a little small, but overall I recommend it.

Italian Pizzeria La Nuova Taverna

22/11/2025: Lunch with friends; we ordered a mixed grill, which was very, very good, everything excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly. I'm not giving it more than 4 stars for two reasons: the meat arrived lukewarm, and we were cold inside, even though it was a freezing day. Overall, a very positive experience.
20/08/2025: Highly recommended! We ordered the grilled meat and it was a total success. Very friendly. Good value for money.
