Fugu Restaurant In Lecce

Honestly, I was very disappointed, I have been used to going to high quality restaurants for over 25 years, Fusion, Thai and Jappa and having eaten here at least 8 years ago I would say that the situation has gotten worse. Service like a tavern, there is no staff and the waiters have to reach out to order something, but this is common in 90% of Italian restaurants. Food well presented, but nothing particularly special. I was expecting wild salmon like the other Fusion restaurant in Lecce chose, not an All you can eat salmon. I got the seafood Ramen, which overall wasn't bad, but the supermarket spaghetti wasn't. TOO NOISY environment, I wouldn't go back for this and for the poor service other than to seat you and for the first order, after which goodbye. I hope mine is taken as constructive criticism and nothing personal. The price would have been right if the service was better.

Optimal! Everything excellent Very good sushi, unfortunately we had a bit of a wait, but in the end it was worth it. Sashimi excellent and not freezing as usual. Young and present staff. Very modern decor, perhaps too much. We would have liked to enjoy the view of Villa della Lupa but unfortunately the table was far from the windows. A little expensive but recommended for a special evening.

Superlative experience! The new renovated Fugu even more elegant. Japanese cuisine with attention to the smallest details. Qualified, very kind staff. Fugu forever ❤️

Our dinner at Fugu may have been the most memorable dining experience of our time in Italy. From the moment we arrived the staff was very attentive, chatting casually to make us feel comfortable with our lack of knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi. Their English skills were very good and both the owner and the wait staff were simply great. I hesitate calling their treatment of us service because they treated us like friends. The ambiance was upscale and beautiful and very comfortable. We put ourselves in their hands and the dishes and accompanying wine they recommended were perfect. Our one regret is that we discovered them at the end of our visit in Lecce so didn’t get to enjoy the experience a second time before leaving. Food, service, ambiance and welcoming people. Fugu has it all.

Great Japanese restaurant. All the plates were super tasty and the personnel very friendly.

I have been to this restaurant many times for dinner. But this evening the food and service were truly superb.

Large selection of Asian specialties, top service. Very good cuisine, reasonable prices. Very large restaurant, the entrance stairs are a bit challenging!

When with with friends so we had various dishes. The food was ok but doesn’t really have anything to do with japanese or thai food if you have been to those countries.

Eccellente. Sotto tutti i punti di vista. Abbiamo cenato in questa cornice elegante, coccolati da professionalità e ricercatezza. Materia prima di livello, lavorata con sapienza e semplicità. Davvero un’esperienza da vivere, complimenti!
