I had sushi here tonight and it was a wonderful experience! The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Each bite had a great balance of flavor and texture. The rice was seasoned just right, and the rolls were carefully prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. I especially appreciated the light yet satisfying flavor of everything—exactly what I look for in good sushi. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who appreciates quality Japanese food. I really enjoyed the food and would recommend it to anyone. What surprised me was that the staff didn't speak any English, even though as a tourist you'd expect to be going to a Japanese restaurant.

All the dishes we tasted were excellent. Well-kept place. We will return soon. In my opinion, it's a shame to order with a sheet of paper and not with a tablet

12/10/2025: I haven't been to this restaurant since before Covid, I remembered the good food, but I must say that they have improved a lot: the sushi is very varied, with very fresh and high quality ingredients, creative, balanced, well structured. The place is very nice and clean, staff friendly and efficient. Absolutely worth trying.
20/07/2025: The selection of specials, which you can find everywhere these days, is good. The waitress is a bit absent-minded and rude in her responses: you point out that you didn't order that dish, she replies that it's because you don't remember, then comes back and says it's true that it was from another table... and without apology... Better to have her take an Italian language course, and one on good manners. Too bad, because the place is nice.

22/10/2025: If you want to try real sushi in a traditional Japanese restaurant, light years away from the overused all-you-can-eat restaurants that blend ingredients and cuisines from around the world to excite the palate... Yayoi is the answer. Forget eating on fancy chairs surrounded by ponds with artificial vapors rising up onto the table... this is reminiscent of the old Mambo at Kiss Me Licia, a wooden restaurant with a counter overlooking the kitchen... top-quality fish and rice served to the moment in a typical Japanese bar. I've tried all the "tre bachette" at Gambero Rosso Veronesi, but this one beats them all in quality!
01/10/2025: An intimate restaurant far removed from the usual all-you-can-eat options. It offers a true Japanese atmosphere, with quality food. The portions are generous, the prices are moderately high, but worth it. Limited seating, good service. Definitely worth a try, even for takeout.
