We went here for a quick pasta lunch and had a great experience. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was also great - our waiters took very good care of us and were super friendly.
The vibe is also really nice, the street next to the restaurant is not too busy and you can still enjoy a beautifil sea view!

The best pasta we've ever had in Italy. The spaghetti aglio and the olive e peperoncino were outstanding. The same goes for the penneta scostumata and the pizza quattro stagioni. Each dish costs around €10-12. A large beer is €5. The restaurant is a bit out of the way from the very center of Sorrento, on the road out of town. Nevertheless, it's worth walking a little further to sample the exquisite Italian cuisine. The service and atmosphere are also five-star.

Great, authentic Italian taverna near the Roman ruins. Great daily specials! The chef puts a lot of love into his work! The food was fantastic! We'd love to come back!

While staying at the Grand Hotel Vesuvio for the last week , we came upon this lovely taverna while walking into Sorrento , we had drinks only one day and thought we would return for food , it doesn’t disappoint , we had lunch on out last day here , it was the best Italian food we have had , just a pity we are leaving so soon after finding this place .

We often return to Taverna Sorrentina, it's become a true treat. We rely entirely on Mattia and Alfonso for the menu. We're sure to find fresh dishes made with local ingredients. Tonight, Mimmo, with his usual kindness, served us a delicious Greco, freshly made, which paired perfectly with the ciurilli and the tuna genovese. We finished with a delicious tiramisu and a lemon delicacy. We couldn't resist. It was worth it 😍 we'll be back as soon as possible.

A great choice for both lunch and dinner with friendly staff. Such a pleasant atmosphere away from the crowds on the Main Street. Food was delicious and we had a couple of their specials which were well worth it. We ate here twice during our stay!
