A simple, down-to-earth place with a genuine feel. The fried squid, fried anchovies, and stuffed anchovies are excellent. The fried food is light and not greasy. The dishes were prepared quickly (it was a Tuesday lunchtime and the place was almost empty). The price was right: 2 portions of fried squid, 1 portion of fried anchovies, 1 portion of stuffed anchovies, 1 portion of mussels marinara, 1 bottle of water and 1 of beer, and 1 dessert: total €62. Disposable plates and cutlery. The only flaw is the coffee made with a moka pot; I would recommend getting a capsule or pod espresso machine to achieve perfection. You can eat in the shaded, quiet back garden. Pets are welcome. Returned after a few months: everything was 100% confirmed.

26/02/2026: Weekly fixed-menu lunch. Quick, wide selection, high quality, and a location that takes you back in time. It's one of those places you'd eat lunch at every day, reminding you of the trattorias of yesteryear. A first and second course of your choice from a variety of options (there's always at least four per course), a side dish, water, and dessert (they have at least two-thirds of the house specialty)....all for €13. Considering the good quality of what I ate, I can say I've discovered a little gem.
04/02/2026: Pesto isn't real pesto. Your answer is fine for someone who isn't from Genoa... not for a Genoese. Yours is diluted pesto. Period!

21/10/2025: This little bar/trattoria is simple yet excellent. I come here every now and then, but when I do, I have both breakfast and lunch. Everything is excellent for the price, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh—the dishes they serve are delicious; it really feels like home. The location is quiet, near Bolzaneto, easily accessible by public transport and train. There's a family atmosphere and a desire to pamper customers. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves simple, quiet places. The outdoor seating is also great for breakfast and aperitifs with friends and family. ♥️🥳
