Freundalm In Racines

We walked past this beautiful alpine pasture. We had a delicious lunch there. Of course, we had Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes) and apple strudel. It was incredibly delicious, and the service was very friendly. The food was prepared with lots of love. 😍

Beautiful mountain hut on a well-marked trail! We arrived from Monte Cavallo and continued towards Vipiteno (from the hut to Vipiteno it's a 1-2 hour walk) passing through Telves di Sopra (a bit of paved road and then back on the trail). The view was beautiful and the food was very good! Very generous portions! The hike is worth it! Recommended!

We happened upon the Freundalm by chance during a hike. The service was very friendly, the food was excellent, and all at absolutely reasonable prices. While eating, you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Highly recommended!

A beautiful alpine pasture with a wonderfully quiet, family-friendly atmosphere. A bit off the beaten track, but that's exactly what makes it special. A very friendly and down-to-earth owner, delicious food, and reasonable prices – our favorite in the Roßkopf region.

The view from the mountain pasture is beautiful, the food was very good, and the price was reasonable. However, we had to wait a long time for the Kaiserschmarrn (smothered pancakes), 1.5 hours. All the tables were full.

Siamo stati oggi per la prima volta e ci auguriamo non sarà l'ultima. Vogliamo assolutamente tornarci e lo consigliamo. Bella passeggiata di oltre un'ora e mezza immersi nella natura ma quando si arriva la stanchezza sparisce. Sembra di stare in una fattoria con davvero tanti animali ma si è a 1735 metri con laghetti, incisioni artistiche in legno, solo natura che ti circonda con una vista mozzafiato. Obbligatorio provare gli homemade. Complimenti alla famiglia che gestisce la malga per l'accoglienza, gentilezza e per i risultati che potrete vedere con una vostra visita. Bravi e brave!
