The cacciucco is excellent, even made their way. Fast and friendly service. The atmosphere could use a makeover, but that's their choice, and it should be respected for the restaurant's history. The sink is beautiful.

Sunday, August 24, 2025, 8:30 PM. Catharsis, destiny engraved in onomastics. As the Latins used to say, nomen omen. Catharsis of what, or from what? From tourist traps; from the entropy of common sense, from menus and price lists; from the "chefism" derived from an overdose of gastronomy on television. At the Catarsi brothers' restaurant, the atmosphere is simple and welcoming; even those without a Michelin-starred income are allowed to eat fish, and the hospitality is in keeping with the vocation of a trattoria: to welcome and feed. Perhaps only the fried food was 7, or 7+. The four appetizers were excellent, the cod revisited in an excellent way. Seafood salad? Forget the vinegary jumble from the supermarket shelf. You can truly taste the sea, and appreciate it. As an Emilian, grandson of restaurateurs, I'm wary of stuffed pasta. The tortellini and tortelloni were too strong. Well, I had to change my mind. The cream and cheese weren't overwhelming, and when you dig into the filling, the satisfaction blazes. Finally, remember that at F.lli Catarsi, all this is possible without having to take out a mortgage. In fact, the quality-price ratio is among the most competitive in my recent experience.

I had lunch at Ristorante Fratelli Catarsi and it was a wonderful experience. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere exudes warmth and tradition. The fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked: generous, tasty dishes, with attention to detail. The service was also quick and attentive, without ever being intrusive. I really appreciated the value for money, which was truly excellent considering the quality of the ingredients. A pleasant lunch from start to finish. Definitely a restaurant to return to and one I recommend to anyone who loves good seafood.
