Fresh fish, excellent prosecco and very kind staff

Just steps from the Basilica del Santo, this is a very charming and well-kept restaurant with friendly, helpful staff. We ordered three cicchetti, three fish main courses, one cooked vegetable dish, two waters, and two glasses of wine for €90. Everything was delicious, but unfortunately, there was a bit too much salt everywhere.

Everything was excellent, the creamed cod was delicious, the octopus and pasta with fresh tuna and remarkable aubergines.

Aperitivo in the center of Padua, a few minutes' walk from the main square. Fair prices, though I expected higher considering the location. Quality cicchetti with a good variety; those who prefer can also eat instead of an aperitivo. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommended!

Beautiful location, very kind service and delicious food

Great venetian food in a beautiful setting. A recommendation for a dinner with friends.

Delicious Italian cuisine. I really enjoyed the squid ink pasta. My companions preferred the fried sea fish with extremely light polenta. For dessert, the red berry panna cotta was a delight. My only complaint is that the menu isn't in the language of Dante, but rather in Shakespeare's, for tourists. It's still a good place; I recommend coming early for a quiet dinner and making a reservation.

Professional, attentive and good product

Ho cenato con mia moglie il 5 aprile 2025 e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Abbiamo preso come antipasto dei Folpi bolliti con olio al profumo di aglio e prezzemolo molto leggeri e ben cucinati ed una saltata di cozze e vongole veraci sapida e gustosa. Abbiamo proseguito con due secondi, frittura di pesce di paranza, asciutta e croccante, e un tonno scottato in crosta di sesamo con salsa di soia che si scioglieva in bocca e con la salsa veramente delicata che esaltava il sapore del pesce. Abbiamo poi concluso il pasto con un valido semifreddo all’Amaretto Disaronno con croccantino alla nocciola e una interessante crema fritta al passito dei colli. Le portate erano in giusta quantità, di qualità ed il tutto ben impiattato ed il vino era disponibile anche al calice, al quarto ed al mezzo litro. Il locale è ben organizzato, il personale di sala che ci ha servito si è dimostrato competente e solerte, nonostante l’alta presenza di commensali. Curato e pulito, con prezzi adeguati alla qualità delle portate, merita sicuramente di essere visitato.
