As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by a girl (Elisa) who amazed my wife with her true and unforced friendliness and above all my Neapolitan in-laws who also enjoyed talking to us. Ok let's get to the most important thing.... FOOD. Mixed appetizers typical of Fraschetta, bruschetta with tomato 🍅 every taste, hot porchetta that melts, couple, salami and cured meats from coppa to grilled mortadella, cheeses of all kinds served with honey and walnuts, then beans with pork rinds, grilled tripe Roman (and what tripe!!!), bruschettone with stracciatella and pistachio (unmatched), seasonal vegetables, first courses, second courses and side dishes typical of the Roman tradition. You can see and understand the history and patience of the DA MICHELE family's love and art by observing how they move among customers, how they serve you and what quality of food they use. I could tell you much more by writing, but I would seem biased. I conclude by saying thank you because this evening I saw in the eyes of my in-laws the satisfaction of having eaten well and in arguing over who should pay 🤣 but then a very welcome surprise that is... excellent value for money, just right. Thank you very much for welcoming us with the true spirit of the Roman Fraschetta. Good, decent food... but really bad service and organization. Despite the reservation made 2 days before and our arrival at the location before 1pm with the restaurant still almost empty, they made us sit at a table under the sun. We managed to eat the first courses only after 3pm and furthermore, although in a vain attempt to escape the sun I ate at the corner of the table (despite other tables still remaining empty) the only thing they bothered to point out to us was, is that our little dog (small size of 1.5kg in a special carrier) could not fit on a high chair, which we were using for reasons of limited space instead of a chair, again due to too much sun in the area of ​​our table. It took us about 3 hours for a starter and a first course, all under the August sun... I would say that it wasn't the best service

Maybe we weren't lucky, but the evening was heavily influenced by slow and sloppy service. We had to request and correct some courses over and over again, in the end the situation was resolved by another good-willed waiter... Honestly I found the complete platter for two small in size for the price offered, a single piece or slice of cured meat each they make me sad... The cacio e pepe and the carbonara are good, it's a shame for the amatriciana which was completely ruined by smoked bacon instead of bacon. A receipt with details of what was purchased would be appreciated.

This evening, we had a great time, both in terms of food and service. Everyone was kind, thanks to the lady who served us in the outdoor room. Highly recommended, we will definitely return.

Cibo: ottimo Personale: accogliente e gentilissimo, sempre col sorriso ogni volta che venivano al tavolo Prezzi: ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo (1 antipastone Michelino, 2 fiori di zucca fritti, 1 porzione di saltimbocca alla romana, 1 acqua,1 caffè 50 Eur) Mi preme specificare che i fiori di zucca fritti erano ottimi senza tracce di olio sulla carta e pastella veramente ben fatta, i saltimbocca porzione abbondante, veramente gustosi. Antipastone molto ricco, ok anche per 2 persone

Primi le porzioni sono stra abbondanti,la carne non mi è piaciuta,antipasti nella norma .Ottimo il gelato al croccantino
