Typical local restaurant, tasty, very tasty dishes, correct prices. Characteristic environment, colorful and noisy enough. The staff is pleasant and friendly and made up for the rather long wait for the dishes. We were free from commitments and this was not a problem. I recommend it if you are looking for a local cuisine experience and are not in a hurry.

The place is located on the road before arriving in Ariccia and is easy to reach since they also have their own private parking lot (not very big, but we still managed to park there). They have many seats, but at least on the weekend I recommend booking because it was full of people. Their menu includes appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes and desserts.
As an appetizer we soon had an Antipasto Michelino (13.90€) which included a very good buffalo mozzarella, cold cuts (spicy salami, classic salami, porchetta, raw ham, coppietta, sausage, spicy sausage, raw ham in oil) all good, but honestly I expected better quality especially in the porchetta given the area, instead they were of average quality (they were still good), but I expected better. It also included a bruschetta with mozzarella and bacon that was normal, some fried foods that were good, some very good olives, a good artichoke and some spicy cheese. Considering everything, therefore, an appetizer of average quality that was still abundant for the price.
After the appetizer we had 2 first courses, a gnocco cacio e pepe e bufala (€10.90) which was really delicious, nothing to add, and a Fettuccina da Michele (€11.90) (red porchetta sauce), also good, maybe I would have added a few pieces of crispy rind in the plating to give it that crunchiness, but still very good and above all both first courses were very large portions. As a second course we had a Grigliata da Michele (€24) which included half a grilled chicken which was super good, one of the best chickens I have ever eaten, 1 very good and tasty sausage, 1 slice of beef which was really good and cooked very well, maybe after cooking I would have let it rest a little longer because it lost all the juices on the plate, 1 pork steak which I didn't like very much because it was quite dry, but anyway it's pork so it couldn't have been cooked less, maybe I would replace it with some other cut of meat and 2 arrosticini as usual.
Together with the grill I took some baked potatoes (€5) which I didn't like very much, they were a little undercooked inside, in fact then reheated well at home they were very good.
For dessert we then took a soufflé with a warm chocolate heart (€6) which was really delicious, too bad there was no warm chocolate heart inside, but only melted on the outside.
The service during lunch was done correctly, great attention to the customer and just the right times considering it was Sunday lunch and that the place was full.
For 1 appetizer, 2 first courses, 1 second course, 1 side dish, 1 dessert, 1 still water and 1 Coke Zero we spent €80 which considering also the size of the portions is a really excellent price, so much so that we didn't even manage to finish it all despite how much stuff there was and they were very kind to wrap it up to allow us to take it home, all using no plastic at all and the little bit of plastic was recyclable or recycled.
