We were here a week ago and it was – just like the week before – very lovely. Wonderful food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere with an open fireplace. We'd love to come back. The photo shows the Tagliolini San Daniele with poppy seeds (and a little cream...).

During our journey through the splendid wineries of the Collio Friulano, we had the pleasure of discovering this wonderful osteria immersed in nature, just steps from the Slovenian border. 🌿 A typical, welcoming, and well-kept farmhouse, with ample parking and a relaxed atmosphere that immediately invites you to linger. We were greeted with kindness and professionalism by the host, who guided us through the selection of dishes and wines with great knowledge and passion. We began lunch with a truly excellent appetizer: crostini with excellent cooked ham and a light sprinkling of fresh horseradish—simple yet authentic and perfectly balanced. This was followed by a knife-cut beef tartare with caramelized onion compote and black garlic mayonnaise: the freshest, highest-quality meat, an elegant and delicious dish. On the host's recommendation, we paired everything with a very fresh Chardonnay from Cantina Livon, the perfect companion to a lunch that encapsulated all the essence of Friuli. 🍇 For our first courses, we chose tagliolini with San Daniele ham and poppy seeds, tasty and delicate, reflecting the local tradition. I opted for the traditional Cjarsons with sage butter and smoked ricotta: a signature dish of Friulian cuisine, expertly prepared. The aromatic filling, the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the thin, well-rolled pasta make them, without exaggeration, the best Cjarsons I've ever tasted in Friuli. Sincere compliments to the chef! 👨‍🍳 Osteria Vineria Vencò won us over with dishes that reflect the tradition, passion, and authenticity of this splendid land. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, the staff is kind, helpful, and attentive: every detail contributes to making the experience pleasant and memorable. With a more than fair bill and a homey atmosphere, we left this place extremely satisfied, promising to return. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for their hospitality and for giving us a true Friulian experience filled with flavors, warmth, and authenticity. 💛

Spectacular, simple atmosphere, excellent food, non-invasive staff

A wonderful experience in the Collio hills! Delicious appetizers, delicious local dumplings (cjarsons), and a unique, light-as-a-feather pizza. And plenty of wine, available for tasting and purchase at the cantina price. Highly recommended!
