There are some delicious things, but the halal shops aren't very friendly, to be honest. I always buy from them when I'm downtown. ♥️

This bakery is located in the center of Bolzano. You can buy bread and pastries and eat inside. I had a pretzel and bought some traditional bread...all very good. The staff is kind and friendly.

I've been visiting Bolzano during the Christmas markets for a few years now, and I never miss a stop at this bakery/café. Excellent products, prices in line with those in the city. The large number of tourists, in addition to the local customers, probably makes the service sometimes superficial.

Excellent place, both for a sandwich and for breakfast (on site you can order coffee/cappuccino and sit in the room to taste what you bought)

Bakery with traditional products. I had breakfast with a croissant (various fillings available) and coffee, spending less than €5. The croissant was quite large, but not particularly good in my opinion. I also bought some fresh bread to go, which was truly delicious!

Halal options are very limited. The receptionist was friendly. But the old lady making the tea was so upset that she felt like she was spilling something while working. Overall, it solves the problem, but it's not special.

Ristorante Schennerhof

26/03/2026: I stayed in a room on the 4th floor overlooking the road, and the view from the balcony was wonderful. The only downside was the sound of the large bell ringing from the nearby cathedral, but other than that, everything was great.
13/01/2026: I spent Christmas and New Year's Eve at the Schennerhof with friends this year. It was a wonderful time, especially with the holiday menus and the six-course New Year's Eve dinner – both were first-class. After midnight, the hotel put on a beautiful fireworks display, followed by a small dance party. The rooms, pool, and location in town were excellent. The weather was fantastic – nothing but sunshine. We will definitely come back.
